Find the right size for you

Follow the instructions below to pick the best shoes size for your foot. Most of us do not have feet that have exactly the same volume, so do the procedure for the foot that is larger, or do it for both if you don't know.

1: Trace your foot.

Ideally someone else can do this for you, so you can stand upright and have your full weight equally spread on both feet. Hold the pen vertically against your foot and slide it around your foot to trace a contour line.

2. Mark length and width

For the length, mark the tip of the longest toe at the front, and the end of the heel at the back.

For the width, choose the two points where your foot is widest, right around the base of your toes.

3. Measure Length and width

Measure the lines for your width and length measurements.

4. Measure your girth (optional)

Optionally, and to make your size finding more precise, wrap a measuring band around your metatarse (where your bones stick out right and left) in order to measure the "girth" of your foot.

5. Choose your toe space

For the activity of dancing in barefoot shoes we recommend 5-7mm extra toe space in addition to the length of your foot. Add that to your length measurement, to receive the ideal shoe length.

You don't need to add anything to the width measurement.

6. Choose your shoe.

Use the chart below to search for your ideal shoe size. The numbers displayed are the measurements of the shoes. Search in the column "shoe length" for the length that suits you best. Check the corresponding size. Based on the available shoe lengths, you can evaluate how much toe space you would have.

Check if your foot width corresponds to the shoe width, and if your girth corresponds to the girth of the shoe. Use this to decide if a smaller or larger size is suitable.

If your width or girth is slightly higher than that of the shoes, the shoes will fit very firmy and the leather will give in over time. For the actvity of dancing, we recommend a slightly tighter fit before a loose fit so the shoes don't move around while dancing.

Please note that your length and width might not correspond to the same size. Consider both length and width to determine the best fit for your preferences. You might prefer a tighter fit or a looser fit.

General Fit: DeaDos shoes have a normal to slim fit. If you have very broad feet or high volume feet the shoes will probably not fit you very well.
